Designer Growth Through Fashion Week Exposure

How often do you look at your clothing before you decide to wear it for the day? Not for its comfortability or emotional appeal, but for its character. The little buttons that line the front, stitches that create a unique shape when you quint, the funky font on the label attached to the inside. Though for many wearers this is just an afterthought, but for designers this is a representation of their craft shared with the world.

Attention to detail is cherished in the fashion industry, but not often is every designer with a keen eye given the opportunity to share their creative contributions. But this is where fashion shows come in: to cultivate culture. Not only do runway events highlight the importance of the arts, but allow designers and artists to showcase their work in a forum that most mimics how the apparel will be seen outside the catwalk.
Fashion shows are the cornerstones of connections between industry professionals and up-and-coming designers. With increased visibility through media marketing before and during the show’s production, as well as the in person luxury experience, designers have the opportunity to showcase their work on a larger scale.
Along with raising awareness of a new brand, runway events build designer confidence. Becoming a successful fashion designer begins with the confidence to show off your work to others, reflecting not only your creative talents but your boldness to show off your work in an extremely competitive field.
Working with Designers

As CAFW continues to build a legacy of luxury fashion events, we make it our mission to work alongside designers through every stage of the process. We want each and every creative to feel heard, seen, and empowered by our team. With constant collaboration, exploration into innovative tactics, and a diverse marketing team, CAFW works to expand designer brands through runway exposure.
A fashion show is not just a collection of garments, but a collective of people working together to elevate the next generation of fashion. Together, we can continue to grow a space for all designers eager to be seen.
